Dan Freigang, Ph.D. is a sport scientist working with youth, teens, adults, individuals and groups in Sport Psychology. Dano travels the country doing clinics and workshops with clubs and individuals. Dano was an internationally ranked athlete and national team coach and he presents his skills as a unique blend of scientist and coach.
After training and competing at the highest levels in two sports, Dan earned his bachelors degree in physical education from the University of Calgary. He went on to excel in coaching becoming one of the youngest National Team coaches in Canadien swimming. Having excelled in the coaching realm, Dr. Dan continued to dig deeper into the concepts of achievement and sport.
Dr. Dan earned a Master's Degree in Counseling from Springfield College and a Ph.D. from the University of Utah. Dr. Dan is currently in private practice and lives in Utah with his family, wife Melissa and two sons. Dr. Dan's boys are ages nine and four.
Both boys, Willi and DJ pursue their own Olympic dreams of couch jumping, wrestling and ultimate destruction. Both boys also are well versed in the art of parental psychology and manipulation.
